Founding of Rotoflex AG in Grenchen. Production commences in the leased sections of a lacquer factory, close to the present site.

Relocation to a new building at Lebernstrasse 40 in the eastern industrial zone.

The single-storey company building is enlarged by a second floor. The new floor contains the administration department and the fully modernised development laboratory.

A new lacquer production facility is built. Rotoflex AG obtains new production areas and additional storage areas. Modern equipment is acquired for container and drum cleaning, and the recycling of solvents.

Installation of a modern metering station with 60 tanks to hold colour master batches, lacquers and additives.

Fire at Rotoflex AG. A large part of the company's premises are destroyed and damaged by smoke and water. No personal injuries are sustained.

Reconstruction of the destroyed and damaged building. The company is enlarged by the addition of new storage facilities. A new nitrocellulose bunker is built. The development laboratory is relocated, enlarged substantially and re-furbished with new equipment.
